Happy Mother's Day!

Updated: May 11

G’Day! Glad you could make it...

It's Mother's Day, so I'm dipping into my memoir, Wayback, to find stuff to share with you about my wonderful mother - Leondis Dean...

Leondis, daughter of Evelyn and Bill (Wilhelm) Schaefer from Dimboola married Lang, son of Dolly and Leo Dean of Womboota.

They purchased a small block of irrigation country in Wakool, New South Wales and set about building a house, dairy and starting a family.

Leondis and Lang had Gerard, Joe, Philomena, Therese, Kristen, Susan, Rosanne, Bernie and Angela. I have to say that having eight legendary brothers and sisters in the same house was cracking! I thank them all.
